Tables: 5
Games Spread: 4/8 LHE • 10/20 LHE • Spread Limit (2-40)

Located just across the street from Parker’s, and just across the parking lot from Drift On Inn, Club Hollywood isn’t just a restaurant, bar and casino but a self-proclaimed museum. Its walls are papered with signed photographs of Hollywood stars like Martin Landau, Al Pacino, and Richard Dreyfus (OK, so it’s a little dated…). Occasionally you’ll find a $4-8 poker game there, but the emphasis is more on the (hopelessly tacky) décor, the karaoke on Sunday and Tuesday nights, and the steak and sushi café.
Sign-ups begin at 6:30 pm for their daily $35 buy-in poker tournament.

The games going were the 2-40 spread limit which seemed to play more or less like 1/2 NL. The down side was that the max buy-in is $200 and, at the main table, 3/4 of the players had $600+ in front of them. The $40 max bet helped balance it out a little, but it reminded me of LV 1/2 games with nomax buy-in where it plays a lot higher.

The room/casino itself is all new and shiny, which is quite a contrast from its nextdoor neighbor (Drift On Inn). If you're looking for a good non-tribal cardroom for spread limit, I think this is it.
Cardroom Quality: The room itself is pretty spacious with a very open feeling. The decor is over-the-top glitzy, but not in a bad way. All the furnishings were nice, new and comfortable.
Player Level: The players were fairly loose up front, but pretty solid on the later streets. Could be quite profitable, but I suspect there are more than a few wolves in sheeps clothing.
Dealers: While fast and fairly accurate, not a lot of personality in the dealers I encountered.
Food and Drink: Drink service was fine, didn't try anything on the menu.
Management: Seemed efficient and friendly
Extras: Didn't see any mention of jackpots, but sure that there is the standard WA state stuff.

Over all, if you can stand the music, like loose games and loose rules. You would probably find this place acceptable. The main games are 2-40 split. This place wasn't for me though.

Cardroom Quality: Clean and well kept. The problem is in the atmosphere, 80s music constantly blaring and the decor is pretty garish. If you like the era and the radio at that time, then you may find this place quite enjoyable. I dont, and I didnt.
Player Level: Your standard fare.
Dealers: They were good and didn't have any issues.
Food and Drink: Food seemed pretty poor. But could have just been a bad day.
Management: My biggest problem was the rules. I say string bets all over the place. The dealers were told not to enforce any "over the line" rules, it was up to the other players. I thought that was a pretty poor management decision.
