Overall not a bad cardroom, just seems to draw the 'wrong crowd'. A lot of 'wanna-be' ganstas and such. Definitely a local hangout for a number of folks on the on the weekends, with lots of alcohol flowing.
Cardroom Quality: The tables are getting a little worn (rail tears and such), chair seem ok, auto shufflers.
Player Level: Lots of intoxicated players in the evenings. This can be good our bad depending on how you're running as it is pretty much 'no foldem holdem'. When you're running bad it a double insult because you got drunk players hooping and hollering about their great suckouts.
Dealers: Seemed efficient and didn't see any mistakes made, but with one or two exceptions, they are pretty robotic.
Food and Drink: Waitress is always around to take drink orders. The food that I've tried (several times) was average at best.
Management: The floors managers are always friendly, try to learn everyone's names and generally seem on top of things (of course there's not really a lot ot be on top of).
Extras: I don't really like their comp system (Washington Players Club). It's set up like the Vegas casinos do it, but to be honest, in my local cardroom all I really want is cheap (but good) food comped.

Looks like the standard mismash of Monte Carlo/High Hand jackpots

I'm still not sure why Silver Dollar has a tropical theme, but this location is the most tropical of them all. However, other than the decor, it's a pretty average place. The only reason I play here is because it's at the 1/2-way point on my commute home and sometimes I just need to get off the road for a bit.
Cardroom Quality: Very spacious casino, and you never feel cramped sitting at any of the 5 poker tables available.
Player Level: Your usual mix of senior-aged calling stations, rich wives whose husband is at the blackjack table, and the sunglass-wearing wannabe professional honing his skills at 3/6 limit.
Dealers: Nothing spectacular that I've witnessed. Some of the dealers seem bored to be there - however, I still give them a 3 because of some of the extra-cute ones.
Food and Drink: Haven't actually eaten here, but I assume it's the same as the other Silver Dollars. Still not a big fan of their comp-card system.
Management: They seem fairly competent, keeping track of higher-limit requests and balancing tables as needed.
Extras: They switch between High hands and Monte Carlo payouts depending on the day of the week. Last I was there, some of the Royal flushes were up to $9000!
